Scottsdale, AZ. Chef Jeremy Wilson has been hired as the Head Chef and Manager at the new Hole in the Rock Restaurant, Scottsdale. Most recently Chef Wilson cooked at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa and the 5 Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.
Chef Wilson has long been a student of the culinary arts; he learned to cook at a young age from his family. When he finished his tour in the United States Army, he decided to pursue an education that would let him explore his talents in the culinary arts. He received his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from Scottsdale Community College, and then his Bachelors in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University.
The new Hole in the Rock Restaurant and Lounge, named after the nearby geological formation, is located at Magnuson Hotel’s Papago Inn, Scottsdale. Papago Inn’s General Manager of Hotel and Food and Beverage Services, Ms. Chloe Fagg said, "We are so excited to have Chef Wilson running our new restaurant. Chef Wilson is creating a unique menu and hiring a stellar staff that will be a delightful addition to our South Scottsdale neighborhood. Walk through our doors and you’ll find a truly community restaurant."
The Hole in the Rock Restaurant and Lounge and Magnuson Hotel’s Papago Inn is located at 7017 E. McDowell Road, Scottsdale, AZ. The property is owned by Wirta Hospitality Worldwide who also owns hospitality properties at Olympic National Park in Washington State.
