(Sequim, WA) Nancy Merrigan, General Manager of the Quality Inn, Sequim was recently recognized for her community service leadership at the gala awards ceremony at the 2018 Washington Hospitality Association Convention in Seattle. The WHA recognized that half of Merrigan’s staff are developmentally disabled adults from the Port Angles based Morningside organization. In addition, Merrigan supports the American Cancer Society and the Welfare for Animals Guild. Merrigan is also active with the Sequim Valley Chamber of Commerce where she serves as a board member and leads the Ambassador team.

My Morningside employees are thrilled to be part of the work force, cancer patients receiving extended treatments become a part of our family, and the owners of the pets who stay with us appreciate what we do. These are a few of my passions that warm my heart.”
